Draft Version 1.0 · April 2026 · Draft for Public Comment
This guide defines the operational implementation of SGMA Population Standards within clinical research workflows. It provides a structured approach for integrating applicable standards into protocol design, statistical analysis planning, pharmacologic risk assessment, and scientific reporting.
This guide functions as a companion to the SGMA Standards Architecture (SGMA-ARC-001) and associated standards. It does not introduce new requirements beyond those defined in the standards themselves — it operationalizes their application in sponsor, CRO, and investigator workflows. Implementation is designed to align with existing regulatory, clinical, and operational processes.
